Buying KickOff on itch.io gives you a Steam key for the full game. The game is installed and played through Steam.

How to activate your key:

1. Right after buying, click Reveal Steam key on your download page. The key is also sent to your e-mail.
2. Open Steam and go to Games → Activate a Product on Steam... (Steam Deck / Big Picture: Steam menu → Games → Activate a Product).
3. Paste the key, click Confirm, and KickOff shows up in your Library. Click Install and play!
